  4. FireBlade Publications publishes shareware role-playing 
  5. games and game aids. Most of our publications are not 
  6. computer programs. We've decided to use the matrix of 
  7. computer users and role-players as our distribution channel. 
  8. All of our publications are available via computer bulletin 
  9. board systems and ftp sites.

  14. The Magic Stack: The Magic Stack is a Hypercard 1.2.5 stack 
  15. that helps you keep all of your original spells in one place 
  16. -- on your Macintosh. The shareware price for The Magic Stack 
  17. is $5.00. If can't find The Magic Stack, you can send us 
  18. $5.00 and a blank Macintosh disk with a return envelope and 
  19. return postage.

  21. The Brand X Hero's Guide:  The Hero's Guide is intended as 
  22. a gamer's aid for the Brand X super-hero role-playing game. 
  23. Much of the information is useful for any super-hero gamer 
  24. and game master. The shareware price for The Hero's Guide  is 
  25. $5.00. The Hero's Guide is distributed in postscript format 
  26. as well as in Microsoft Word 4.0¬ format. If you would like a 
  27. printed version, send us $10.00 plus $2.00 for 
  28. shipping/handling (United States only). If you live outside 
  29. of the United States, write first.

  31. The Brand X Gallery: The Gallery is three things. First, 
  32. it's a collection of heroes and villains for your Brand X 
  33. super-hero campaign. Second, it's a Hypercard 2.0 stack that 
  34. you can use to store your heroes and villains. Third, you can 
  35. use it as a publishing tool to distribute collections of your 
  36. own heroes and villains. The shareware price for The Gallery 
  37. as a collection of heroes is $2.00. If you would like a 
  38. printed version, send us $8.00 plus $1.00 for 
  39. shipping/handling (United States only). If you live outside 
  40. of the United States, write first.

  43. What if I can't find any of these?

  45. If you can't find The Magic Stack , The Gallery, or The 
  46. Hero's Guide, and would like a copy, send us the shareware 
  47. price, a blank disk (IBM, OS-9, or Macintosh, 3.5 or 5.25 
  48. inch), and a return envelope with return postage affixed. 
  49. We'll send you a copy. Note that The Magic Stack and The 
  50. Gallery are available only in Macintosh versions. They 
  51. require Hypercard. Make checks payable to Jerry Stratton.

  54. What╒s the price?

  56. Remember, our products are shareware. That means you are 
  57. expected to pay for them. However, you are only expected to 
  58. pay once for each product. When new versions come out, you 
  59. are free to download these and replace your old version 
  60. (although if you want us to send you a copy, you will have to 
  61. pay again). Please do pay. Not only does it help us, but it 
  62. may convince other creators to use the electronic 
  63. distribution channel as well.

  66. What if I can╒t swing the money right now?

  68. Look, if all we wanted was your money, we╒d shrinkwrap our 
  69. products and sell them sight unseen. We want our products 
  70. used. If you can╒t afford it now, we╒ll wait. Go ahead and 
  71. use the product. In fact, we recommend that you use the 
  72. product long enough to decide whether or not you want to keep 
  73. it, before sending us any money. Send us the payment when you 
  74. have it, and you╒re sure you╒ll like the product in question.

  105. How do I use postscript files?
  106.  
  107. Most of our publications are distributed, electronically, in 
  108. postscript format, or in Microsoft Word 4.0¬ for the 
  109. Macintosh.

  111. If you wish to preview the publication before printing, the 
  112. Previewer is highly recommended (for Macintosh users). This 
  113. is a printer driver available via anonymous ftp from info-
  114. mac, at sumex.stanford.edu, in the util directory.
